Michael Sargent, DDS, served the community of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, as a family and cosmetic dentistry specialist.  He founded our practice (today known as Chelmsford Dental Specialists Group) back in 1983. Michael G. Sargent, proudly provided general dental care to his patients up until his recent retirement in late 2021.

Dr. Sargent grew up in the area and attended Chelmsford High School. He earned his bachelor of arts from Saint Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire, graduating summa cum laude. He then went on to complete his dental degree at Georgetown University (GW) in Washington, DC, and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a national dental honor society.

Outside of his passion for dentistry, Dr. Sargent has always been active in his community. He served as Chelmsford’s Santa Claus for 25+ years at the annual tree lighting ceremony. He also was involved in the Town of Chelmsford scholarship fund, a nonprofit providing aid to Chelmsford residents who wished to pursue an undergraduate education.

Dr. Sargent enjoys volunteering and finds the experience extremely fulfilling. During his time at GW, he joined the Georgetown organization for Latin American countries (GOLAC) providing dental care to those living in the mountain villages in the Dominican Republic.
